Memorial Book for the victims of National Socialism at the University of Vienna in 1938
This online accessable database contains roughly 2,200 names and short biographies of victims, who were persecuted, driven away and/or murdered – as jews and/or for political reasons, professors, lecturers and students. It was launched in June 2009.
The public display and announcement of the memorial book is an essential part of the project, which shall be unterstood as a ‚work in progress‘. By a wide online linking of the data base we intend to reach more persons concerned or their affiliates and ask them to complete the contained information.
